Emily & Jim celebrated their wedding with a few dozen of their closest loved ones at the awesome Aronson Fine Art Center Gallery at Laumeier Sculpture Park. There’s something so special about documenting a wedding with less than 100 people in attendance! The gorgeous creations by Flowers & Weeds and yummy spreads by Seed, Sprout, Spoon were once again a treat for me to document. The best parts of the day were seeing how naturally happy Emily & Jim were together, the fun they shared with guests throughout the day, and the surprise ring delivery down the ceremony aisle by their dog Bruce. That was a first for me to see and I hope it happens a lot more! 🙂
Amber & Justin endured every kind of weather on their big day at Mount Pleasant Winery; from sunny to rainy to overcast to sunny again. Amber had her sights set on an outdoor ceremony but with the rain it just wasn’t possible; thankfully, so many loved ones and vendors came together to flip the reception space into a beautiful ceremony space and afterwards we lucked out with gorgeous weather for portraits. I love that Amber & Justin remembered the big picture of their day and still had so much fun together with their family & friends. <3
When clients become friends it’s a special thing. <3 Morgan has shadowed us at weddings years ago and our friendship grew from there. I always heard about Paul from her and I just knew this guy had a very special place in Morgan’s heart from the start.
I’ve had so much fun taking photos for Morgan the past couple years like when she graduated from Mizzou, when Paul put a ring on it in DC where they live, and now on their beautiful wedding day. She is such a talented graphic artist; she handmade all of the calligraphy as well as designed the program and seating chart. Not only is she super talented, she is a compassionate and sweet person. When I first met her Paul, I knew it was the perfect match because he has the same compassionate and sweet traits too.
I can’t truly express how awesome it’s been gaining a friend in Morgan ( and now Paul) throughout the years of photos and meetups. I can’t wait to see what adventures will be next. <3
Wedding dreams come true with a gorgeous super in love couple, an all outdoor wedding day with perfect weather, blue and green accents with gold and geodes, a sunken garden, and having my girl Shelly along to shoot with us. I could go on and on about what a wonderful celebration Morgan & Shamus had, but I’m going to let the photos tell the story. 🙂

Bonus that there’s a resident house chicken, Phoebe, at Kuhs Estate and Farm. 🙂
Chair image by Shelly, how awesome is it that everyone got a custom tamborine?! LOVE. So sweet of Shamus watching his Morgan come down the hill with her dad. <3

Sneaking away at sunset is a must if possible!
So sweet they danced to a song completely written and created by Shamus. <3

I love that couples are excited when I say we are going to sneak away for a night shot. 🙂
It was so beautiful to witness these 2 have a final private dance to Nora Jones’ ‘Sunrise’. Not gonna lie, I teared up. It was so special and beautiful with them surrounded by candlelight.
And an epic sparkler exit complete with tamborines to top off an absolutely awesome day! <3
The amazing team of vendors that helped bring their vision to life:
Darci & Arty are such a fun- loving couple so it made total sense for them to have their wedding celebrations at one of St. Louis’ coolest spaces, the City Museum. Keeping the party going to the next day, they held a picnic the following afternoon complete with fried catfish made by Darci’s uncle. We had a great time capturing this fun wedding weekend! <3
Picnic day! Her uncles are out frying catfish while everyone enjoys under the beautiful pavilion in Tower Grove Park. Darci’s my kinda girl with the 2Pac reference on her shirt and cat ears! 😀
