I’ve always thought it would be neat to see my images in a magazine, now I can say it’s happened. You may remember Erin & Ryan, the awesome couple whose wedding I photographed over the summer; it was such an honor documenting their wedding day and now it’s even sweeter seeing their photo in the January issue of Alive Magazine. I’d say 2013 is shaping up to be pretty rad. 😉

Danielle & Mitchell were a photographer’s dream: they went along with any crazy idea I threw their way, they had fun and were relaxed, and they were totally into one another, which makes for some of the sweetest photos. 😉

Married | Jack & Bryan
Jack and I go way back, back like became close friends during student council and choir in high school 🙂 We’ve remained friends ever since and when I first met Bryan I knew Jack had met his match. They crack jokes off one another like a comedy show, love to travel and adventure the world, and are always volunteering their time for a friend or cause. They decided to tie the knot during a trip to NYC in 2011, then hold a celebration back home in St. Louis in 2012. They found an amazing venue, the Third Degree Glass Factory, and created many natural elements for their centerpieces and decor. The wedding day arrived and by the time they exchanged vows I dont’ think there was a single dry eye among the crowd.

Last week, I received the exciting news that I was chosen as one of The Knot’s Best of Weddings 2013 Pick. This is a such a huge honor; if I could reach through the computer and bear hug all of my awesome couples I totally would. But alas I can not, so my second choice is to say a thousand virtual thank yous :). Without you all, none of this would be possible, and for that I am sooo thankful.
