Engaged | Morgan & Paul in DC

I really can’t put into words how much I loved spending time with Morgan & Paul in DC for their engagement session.  We adventured around so many amazing places in our nation’s capitol, it’s hard to pick favorites.  Their love for each other and fun they have together is so apparent it made my part super fun and easy.  Thanks for the DC adventure Morgan & Paul, can’t wait for your big day next year! <3

Engaged | Alex & Ben

Alex, Ben, & their son Nolan strolled along the canals at New Town on a hot summer evening.  The midwest heat was brutal but it didn’t stop them from having a blast, and at the end of Nolan’s time with us he ran free and kicked off his shoes.  Definitely cool by me! 🙂  So excited to see them all again this fall at the wedding! <3

It’s been two years since the blog has seen a family shoot, and the Statler family is back to help with that.  The little ones have grown and Tania and Travis added a sweet guest house to their home, it was the perfect place for their summer session. <3

Morgan is an art major graduating this May; she loves graffiti, music, and film photography and she wanted her photos to reflect her passions, LOVE that!  She expressed that I could be as creative as desired, I felt a sense of freedom while taking her photos and it was so refreshing to get back to my roots of individual portraits. 🙂
