As Beau and I approached our 10 year wedding anniversary I was wondering how we could celebrate. We hadn’t taken a big trip, that’s non- work related, in several years so I thought why don’t we check off one of our bucket list places. Hawaii! Beau’s always wanted to try surfing, and the remote location has always appealed to me when I looked at maps and saw tiny dots in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. So off we went for a 10 day Polynesian adventure. 🙂
Imagine 40 years from now sitting down with your grandchildren and showing them your engagement photos. That those photos reflected exactly how things were for you two when you decided to start your lives together and build a home. That’s the tangible memories Katelyn & Sonny created during their session in their home and walking Nellie to the nearby park like they always do. <3
When you’re a die- hard Cards fan, like Tiffany & Scott, the best thing to do for your engagement session is have Busch Stadium all to yourselves! It was such a blast documenting these 2 in their season ticket seats, on the field where the views of the city are breathtaking, and around the dugout where so many baseball greats have stood. It was a super warm ( I mean hot!) day so it just made sense to stop in for a cold brew at their favorite spot by the stadium, The Broadway Oyster Bar. 😉 To finish off their session, we explored around the new Arch grounds. We’re super excited to see them again at their wedding in Kansas next spring! <3
Jill & Chris really nailed their engagement session by having it in their beautiful home and nearby neighborhood park. Their cat, Beaker, even made an appearance and my animal loving heart skipped a beat as he was the first cat to join in on an engagement session. 🙂 Chris played classic rock albums (LOVE!), they sipped Moscow mules together, and Chris kept Jill laughing and smiling throughout the evening. I had such a great time documenting these two and I’m super excited to see them again this fall at their STL Zoo wedding! <3
