Personal | Inspiration Shoot at Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas

We recently traveled to Las Vegas for a photography conference and from the moment I booked the flight, I imagined a photo shoot in the desert.  Lucky for me, my cousin and his wife live there and were totally down to help my vision come to life.  I handmade a floral crown for Rebecca to wear and stylized their outfits to accent the landscape that was like an unreal painting.  As we were driving, off in the distance, I could see the canyon bright with hues of red.  Stepping onto the rocks for the first time was more breathtaking than imagined, creating photos there was better than dreams…

Engaged | Aubrey & Joe

Engagement

Starting off the new year with Aubrey & Joe’s engagement shoot just feels so right.  Since meeting with them to talk about their wedding, I just knew we would hit it off great.  We spent almost an entire evening chatting about their beautiful October wedding and it seems like any other topic under the sun.  Getting together for their engagement shoot was such a treat as Aubrey & Joe’s fun, stylish personalities paired perfectly with the pretty snow and golden light.  I’m so excited to document their wedding day later this year!!

Engagement

Angie & Andrew have a love for the outdoors so we used beautiful mother nature in late fall as our background for their engagement shoot.  With their energetic boy, Charlie, along for a few photos and ending by the fire with s’mores, their shoot is a definite favorite. 🙂

Engagement

Hailey & Matt first met while playing in a kickball league, how fun and cute is that?!  For their engagement shoot, we explored around areas of the city that are special to them; it’s always extra sweet to see a couple in love where it all began. 🙂
